ProxyMix processes the destination URL, request metadata and response content needed to relay a webpage. The service does not require an account.

Operational records

Infrastructure logs may temporarily include time, client network address, requested host, response status, transfer size and abuse-control events. Query strings and page contents should not be used for advertising profiles. Logs exist to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service and are rotated on a short schedule.

Proxied websites

The destination website can still set cookies and observe ProxyMix's server address. ProxyMix does not make a third-party website trustworthy. Do not use the public proxy for banking, private accounts, sensitive forms or confidential communication.

Advertising and partner links

The public landing page may use advertisements or compensated VPN links. Those partners may apply their own cookies and privacy terms. Compensation will be disclosed near the relevant links.

No anonymity guarantee

A public web proxy is a convenience layer, not a complete anonymity system. For device-wide protection, use a reputable VPN and review its independent audits and terms.
